Orange hand-glazed stoneware teapot. This teapot is a re-issue of one of Hornsea's original design's from the 1970's. Decorated with John Clappison's (design & director of Hornsea) charming cat illustration.

Hornsea are a much-loved British heritage brand known for their influential pattern and ceramic design. Founded in 1949 in the coastal town of Hornsea, Yorkshire by two brothers Colin and Desmond Lawson, they specialised in high quality contemporary tableware  and grew to create some of the most popular ranges available in the UK from the 1950s through to the 80s. Magpie has started re-manufacturing some of their greatest designs to continue the legacy of Hornsea.
