Niwaki Okatsune Garden Shears

Versatile shears which can be used for detailed topiary work but still strong enough for hedge pruning, hacking away at shrubs and other tougher jobs. The 8" long blades and long wooden handles make pruning a real pleasure. Iconic red and white handles make them easy to spot if you accidentally misplace them in the compost heap. 

In order to ensure they stay in tip top shape  we recommend  sharpening the blades using the Niwaki #1000 grit sharpening stone when they start to lose their edge. We also suggest cleaning them with the Niwaki Crean Mate with water to remove dirt and garden grime, and then using a drop of Niwaki Camellia Oil to prevent rust.
